Husky Hazel, HipHop based artist from the Southern Maryland area. After humble beginnings as a drummer from his early childhood, Hazel began rapping and singing at age 11, playfully. Although he was raised off Rock, Funk, Oldies and GoGo, the young emcee took more to HipHop. He began taking singing seriously at the age of 15. Juggling both skills as a means to elevate his musicianship, his influences stemmed from Lauryn Hill, Phonte of Little Brother, The Roots, Donny Hathaway, 2pac, and The Notorious BIG to name a few. Hazel desired a career in music after he graduated high school(2006). 8 years of trial & error, tribulation, and growth...the journey continues. Now, with a slight buzz and alternative band known as "The INN"(The Introvert Native Nest), Hazel plans to impact the world with his music to all who will hear.
